Anyone remember how I wrote a post recently about how the Cloudflare-ized internet sucks, and it got turned into the "Is the internet still useful nowadays?" thread, and people argued against me that the 2026 internet does not suck? Yup - here we are. Exhibit A on why the internet of 2026 sucks bigtime.

Found https://browser-compat.turnstile.workers.dev/ which says it's Error 600010, not a supported browser and/or not an updated chromium/firefox browser.

That page has a feedback section that works. I'd suggest we all use it.

It's even worse in fact. Error code 600* means "bot". https://developers.cloudflare.com/turns ... ror-codes/

(I don't think you can even bot on Goanna, unlike chromium/firefox which have purposefully accepted stuff like Selenium self-drivers for bots, scrapers, and "testing" reasons)

They've seemed to have casually ignored the Browser Developer Program and not even tested against Goanna before having it go live.

I tried using current Chromium and Firefox user agents with the Pale Moon sasuga user agent extension. Didn't work of course. Same old crap.

60010 seems to be a catch-all for when it's a bot check failure. Doesn't mean we're classified as a bot but it does mean it was part of the bot check routine that failed, I think.

Can confirm as well, I can't even login to some of my NationStates accounts due to the "border patrol" using Cloudflare lol. It must be embarrassing that Google's reCAPTCHA does a better job than Cloudflare at this point in determining whether a browser is legitimate.

There's clearly something wrong with their check because it gets all green checkmarks on the individual tests.
I'm also wondering why in the hell someone thought it would be a good idea to push a change to production on Good Friday at EoB right before the Easter weekend.
There's also only so many times I can chalk something up to incompetence. Reaching that limit pretty fast with CF's timing.

Same reason why we did, probably: to survive the constant onslaught of bot traffic on the open Internet that nobody seems to care about addressing.

This cloudfart sheit is so incredibely useleless, you have to see it to belive it!

So, cloudscam does fail at PaleMoon because of "bot" - ok, we got it.
On the same machine and same IP it does not complain about an outdated FF 116 (last version for Win7). No bot, no fail.
So, one check from one IP says "bot", another check from the same IP does not? Make it make sense!
Guess me not genious enough to understand this.

And because of Easter the only way they notice it, will be next week the complains from their customers because "somehow" traffic is lower, which is really shitty if you have a onlineshop.
I guess Waterfox and so on have the same problems?

Well, it's clearly a quirk on their end. As said I don't know why they decided to push out an update right before a holiday weekend, other than the "push undesirable changes out on a Friday" kind of software dev trope.

I mean, seriously? Test it in Pale Moon for once before publishing. Not like testing a third engine other than Blink and Gecko is going to seriously increase workload.

Pale Moon cannot get to the winehq.org site because of CF. But Watefox and Firefox can get to the site without any problems. I know because I just tested the address for the site in both 64 bit Waterfox and 64 bit Firefox.

And these two browsers are running in both of my two linux distros which are, at the time of this post, 64 bit MX Linux 25.1 (Infinity) Xfce and 64 bit Debian 13.4 (Trixie) Xfce.

So for me, when CF blocks me using Pale Moon, I just use my backup browser, Waterfox, to get to the site I need or want to go to. This is just the Reality of things for me when dealing with CF.

Ok, looks like the latest version (7.1) of the Bypass Cloudflare With Firefox Cookies extension is still available at the end of the post below. It can help you keep using Pale Moon with CF-protected websites, with a little help from Firefox.
