CF has been getting annoying again lately
I haven't noticed any difference in terms of it working with Pale Moon on the sites I visit. Where are you running into a problem now?
What I have noticed is that a LOT more sites are using it and that is what is making it super annoying. A lot of sites I used to visit from a terminal browser that didn't need any js are now gated by cloudflare and requiring a full-blown browser to visit.

It has gotten a lot slower
And in 4chan it's a toss up whether it gives you the tickbox or not
It's so annoying
Why can't they leave it alone?

Because the A.I. bubble keeps causing network abuse for webmasters unless to counter it with anti-bot challenges.

It seems the Turnstile challenge in
https://pixiv.perennialte.ch/ is always endlessly looping for me, no matter what user agent compatibility mode I use. I'm trying to test the PR
Issue #2983 (UXP) since it fixes the colors of websites using Tailwind.
There's an alternative PixivFE instance at
https://pixivfe.ducks.party/ which does show the colors being fixed by the PR (but layout is still broken) however it's often ratelimited by Pixiv themselves...

The first one keeps looping but the second caused my browser to crash... wonder why
Tried a second time and it didn't happen... weird

Once again CF giving me shit
I was able to spawn the tickbox reliaby on 4chan by initiating a captcha request and then closing the dialog box and reopening it again to initiate another captcha request but it no longer seems to work anymore

I am a web site owner/developer experiencing abuse by AI scrapers left and right. Likely nearly identical to what the Pale Moon forum puts up with. I manage to deal with it effectively, without anti-bot challenges.

Sure, I could do that too, like I did for about 6 months. But it's a lot of work to adapt constantly to shifting identifiers, regions, and scraping techniques. That's why Anubis is a thing now, here.

This has not been my experience with my Apache denylist solution. I set it up once (a year ago) and then added a little bit to it about a month ago. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But this is a core competency of my task. I'm not busy building a world-class web browser.

I'm glad @MC took this issue head-on last year, as these stupid Cloudflare turnstiles are everywhere these days. You have to click through stupid turnstiles to access websites that have absolutely nothing of value on them. And of course they take 20-30 seconds to load and reload before you are so graciously allowed through.
The internet won't die because of attackers and exploits and AI bots. The internet is going to die because it has become an utterly stupid and pointless waste of time.

I wouldn't exactly call it complacency. They do care, but what they care about is short-term convenience. Ignoring any negative repercussions like monoculture, privacy standards, customization options, centralization, modular setups, and just want a "working all-in-one" package.

Cloudflare just took it a step further than I've ever seen before. After allowing Cloudflare access on login (a new required step for this one site), while simply scrolling through posts Cloudflare verification kicked in again. It passed automatically but caused the page to reload thus losing my place. This process of verifying while already logged in could get ridiculous (it is already IMO). When is enough enough?

When is enough enough?
Probably when egress filtering is enforced and the ridiculous amount of bot traffic on the internet is reined in.
However, current big player attitudes do not align with that future vision.

Yup, it's definitely broken.
Found
https://browser-compat.turnstile.workers.dev/ which says it's Error 600010, not a supported browser and/or not an updated chromium/firefox browser.
