Best way to test Cloudflare is the same procedure such as testing any website, namely with a clean profile.

not on my side @gepus, & i haven't changed anything from my palemoon setup using latest palemoon, removing even 2 cloudfare filters & having ublock disabled on cloudfare.
& disabling scripts too. i'm on win11 pro 24h2. When i click on the square, it goes back to looping & reoffering me to click on it again & again, without even anything to resolve.
maybe you can confirm you're passing the cloudfare test on feabie logon.. with a mini video @gepus..?

If any of you were using the excellent "Bypass Cloudflare..." extension (latest version 7.1), you need to delete all of its entries. It offers the option, left-click on its icon. Then disable it and restart.

But that's not enough. Press CTRL-H and find your problem websites. You need to right-click them and "Forget about this site".

If you don't have them in your history then visit them, perform the CTRL-H operation above and try again.

@gepus .. looks interesting but ur palemoon looks "virgin", as if it had zero tweaks.. i can't afford that lol

& @back2themoon, what would u suggest to fix in about:config ? if i can remember, some of you guys suggested a change during the "bypass cloudfare" programming period..

Tried it too and it would loop while HTML5 media was disabled through the HTML5 Media Tuner extension. As soon as I fully enabled HTML5 media there the challenge was succesful. So please check your HTML5 media settings.

i'll install it to see if it changes anything, & if moonchild thinks it can be implemented actually without needing that extension, seeing how hard cloudfare
has been on us, i'll remove it afterwards, otherwise, i'll install it as a set & forget extension now.

It's relatively old, made by Off JustOff. It's not being hosted at PM's addons site though. Had it installed for some time, even tweaked it a little (still a bit buggy though).
HTML5 media can be controlled from PM's Preferences panel but this extension provides a toolbar button for much easier access.

If you can't afford to test with a clean profile (takes max 2 min) then all your comments about Cloudflare or any not working website are pointless.

As a side note, Pale Moon I tested with is far from being "virgin".

@gepus.. fyi, ive never had a clean profile when cloudfare abandoned pm.. . & i'm not starting these tests now. that wouldn't make sense to me.
"virgin" is an approximate guess, but compared to my actual settings, that's how i see it.

i was breathing again once i saw the feabie passed test & normal page, that extension fixed it. yeah, a 2021 extension.
but once i started to play with no html5 & html5 & html5+mse, it returned a: Error code 520
non stop, i'm gonna renew my ip, sometimes it fixes cloudfare issues

news: fixed with ip renewal, so not touching it unless moonchild implements this later.

Nothing. There was no such suggestion. If you are still having problems, start or at least try with a clean profile. Or use Pale Moon Portable separately for quick tests.

Cloudflare is currently working, as far as I can tell and many here confirmed.

The web is full of articles regarding Error 520, and they're most if not all related to CloudFlare. Anyway, any site's dependency on media being available and enabled in browser is... lame, to put it mildly. My opinion.

I too confirm that sites with cloudflare challenges work again with PM.

yup. CF working fine on latest Palemoon version (33.6.1) on my PCs as well.
I can't say the same thing with other browsers like Seamonkey & K-meleon as cloudflare either goes into a loop, gets stuck or hangs in those browsers.
so CF is ok on Palemoon, not so much & still broken on SM & KM

Michael at Cloudflare didn't follow up on the forum to check with the community to see if the fix worked with Pale Moon or Basilisk. No surprise there.

I'm going to release an update to Basilisk that gives challenges.cloudflare.com a Pale Moon user agent in the next day or two to work on addressing their incompetence.

Tested with default new profile and it stops here, so a disabled npapi build will not pass
