Where are preferences hidden?

Ok - I'm sure this is a simple question, but after more than an hour, I can't find an answer.

I've had it with Firefox, for more reasons than I can enumerate. I like that Palemoon has an older, cleaner interface. But for the life of me, I can't find preferences / settings. I've tried everything. I've searched here - but no gear icon on any thing else. I'm visually impaired, so I need to adjust fonts, zoom, and a few other things. If you can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.

It in Pale Moon's application menu. Click the Pale Moon button and look in the right column.
