Help getting text box to display

I work on a website that uses a back-and-forth chat program to speak with customers. For some reason, the text-box element to enter text to the chat won't show up in this browser. The element looks like this:



However, I am completely unable to click into the text box to enter text to chat. It works on other browsers. Is there anyone who can help me troubleshoot this?
