HI, please Cloudflare doesn't work with Palemoon. Can you change it so Cloudflare is no longer a problem. We aren't not robots!

Cloudflare does not like non-chromium browsers. I had to use a user-agent override for Pale Moon to use the W3C Markup Validation (because that is now handled by Cloudflare). I had to use a fake with Safari as well.

Does the double negative mean you are? ;)

What user agent did you use? I can't access this site with the latest Chrome UA:
https://techblog.willshouse.com/2012/01 ... er-agents/

Code: Select all

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/113.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
EDIT: And now it opened without checking anything. Weird.

I have the same problem as you. Which user-agent switch extension are you using?

No problem here accessing the two sites listed above.
I’ve never changed my user agent, so it is whatever Pale moon’s default is.
On the community cloud fare link, the is a notice across the top of the screen saying your browser is unsupported, but the everything seems to work regardless.

I can access both sites above without any problems. On the Community site, I get the "Your browser is not supported" banner, but everything I click on works on that site and renders properly.

I'm just using the Pale Moon default without an user agent changes.

At this time I'm using 64 linux Pale Moon 32.2.0 running in 64 bit linux Mint 21.1 (Vera) Xfce. I have uBlock Origin enabled for both sites too.

After revisiting the site, I can't scroll down once at the bottom of the page on my 32" external monitor. So the last topic thread I can see is at the link below.

I use the latest version of Chrome as my fake. The validation works only sometimes. If the page has embedded media, for some reason, Cloudflare will not accept the override, but if the page is mostly text, sometimes it works. Safari with its Chrome fake works anyway.
With that forum site, there is no problem.

the cloudflare community site somtimes works, sometimes not, mostly not, no chance to read topic in the forum,
other sites protected with cloudflare mostly do not work, seems we have to wait just as the last time until there will be enough complains

This is really annoying as I use two sites multiple times daily and now I have to change browser (Opera - spit). Does anyone know what Cloudflare has changed so I can complain.

And is there a workround for Win7 32-bit that I could use.

To make scrolling work, use autoscrolling (middle mouse click) or add to uBlock:

Code: Select all

community.cloudflare.com##[class^="desktop-view"]:style(overflow-y: scroll !important;)

As it seems it's hard to reproduce the issue reliably (based on the above conversation, I'm guessing cloudflare needs to detect enough traffic from a host to trigger this challenge), I figure it's much more useful to add some debug info from someone who's affected by the issue, instead of just posting links.

Here's the console error I get:
console error.png
I've also attached the v1 that's referred to in the console error. The ch1_api_m just says "invalid" (without quotes).

This issue can be triggered using a clean (portable) version of Pale Moon 32.2.0 64bit (so no browser themes/addons/plugins and using a fresh profile).

Hopefully that's enough information (or at least further helps) to hopefully resolve the issue.

Whether it is a cloudflare problem or a useragent problem, there are still so many palemoon users looking forward to an official solution to the problem, provided of course that your network does not have problems, you can access those sites normally through other browsers, we always want to have a solution, maybe an extension, maybe a piece of code, maybe something else, really looking forward to a solution

by the way, i Install cloudflarewarp app, The problem remains

We literally cannot do anything on our end about broken captcha handling on cloudflare's end. it's entirely under their control.

if you encounter this problem, report it to cloudflare and include the stated "Ray ID" so they can look it up in their logs and see what is going on and what they can do to fix it.
This isnt the first time this happens. Generally it's a problem when website owners enable strict captchas ("I am under attack" mode). CF has already indicated it is not intentional, but they do need to get the information to be able to fix it.
