Perhaps it's the VPN/UblockOrigin combo?
It's Cloudflare. Disable your add-ons, try again and post this to the relevant thread in the Cloudflare community. This cannot be solved by Pale Moon.

Having some trouble, too, with one site. But it coincided with me firing up AVG VPN, so I thought it was related to that, not the browser itself, as I was able to access the site a few days before without the VPN installed.
I'd say it's definitely NOT any of your plugins etc, nor your VPN. Also note that for me, there was one change recently where I started getting the checkbox in that verification that I didn't get before, but it still worked. Shortly after that Cloudflare clearly made other changes that started the issues you and the rest of us are seeing were it just hangs etc.

Since the last time I posted here, I did notice a difference on the challenge page. The embedded iframe used to just show a never ending loading circle, but now I do get a checkbox asking to verify that I'm a human:
challenge checkbox.png
challenge checkbox.png (3.43 KiB) Viewed 599 times
Clicking it results in the page refreshing, but I immediately get another challenge. I'm getting the feeling that I'm successfully getting through the challenge, but it's not adding a cookie to prove that I've passed the challenge. (I do get a cloudflare cookie upon entering the challenge page, so it's not like I have something set that doesn't allow cookies.)

Either way, it does seem like cloudflare is working on it, though we're not quite there yet...

OK...It just worked for me finally. This is using Palemoon 32.2.0 compiled under Gentoo. Clearly they fixed something.

All four websites I tried, now work as expected. Looks like this is solved.

Maybe the problem is that Cloudflare does not like anything but the AppleWebKit rendering engine, and they have a way to test for it directly. With Safari or a chromium browser, I do not have to check the verify box to get the page. It loads immediately.

The same thing occurs with Pale Moon. You don't have to check anything, it proceeds automatically. Assuming of course you are not clearing cookies/cache related to the website in question.

Now it works. I'm using this useragent:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10; Win64; x64; rv:6.0) Goanna/20230123 PaleMoon/32.0.0
UAs with Firefox included (like this one)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/5.2 Firefox/102.0 PaleMoon/31.4.2
Is getting cpu-heavy checks on all websites i checked. But they works as well.

I couldn't find where the problem was exactly, but apparently I broke something while trying to troubleshoot the cloudflare issue that persisted in my profile. Restoring my Pale Moon profile from a few days ago fixed it like every one else.

It sounds like we can close this issue.
