Does it crash visiting this link? It does for me in Basilisk.

That page works (and video plays) for me with my clean new Basilisk profile on GNU/Linux.

It seems to me the OP was asking about Pale Moon and not Basilisk, and from the title, the focus appeared to be Windows 7.

Anyway, when I tried that link using Pale Moon 32.2.0 x64 on Win7 SP1 x64, the browser crashed.

Please post help -> troubleshooting information
Please post as much details about the crash as possible.

As can be seen in my screenshot, it seems my only option was to close the program.

Can I somehow still get to Help -> Troubleshooting Information in a way that will provide any useful information?

As for "details", I entered the URI in the address bar, clicked Enter, and that was it.

Is there anything else I can do that's helpful here?

Thanks.

You can probably find more technical information about the crash in the Event Viewer.

Whoops ... for some reason, I have the service disabled. :o

Then, most likely, we will not know the details. And without them it is difficult to draw any conclusions ...

On old Win7-32 with low RAM the MP4 played all fine, even with manually sliding frames forth and back.

- PM 32.2.0-32, 2 tabs open, cleaned history, few addons, 2 passes with js off and on

As I sometimes have problems with heavy load media pages, I would most likely notice if it is a (system) "memory" issue, like indicated in the error msg.

You can get help -> troubleshooting information at any point in time before a crash occurs.

Cannot reproduce the crash either here in Windows 11 x64.

Can any one of you guys getting the crash try to capture a minidump with these instructions? Make sure to do it in a clean, fresh profile so you don't accidentally leak some sensitive data like saved passwords and stuff. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=13044
Off-topic:
Tobin told me via Twitter that he got the browser to crash when he's on a Google Search page for too long, and occasionally triggered by New Reddit too. Not sure if it's related to this particular crash but might be worth a try for those experiencing crashes here so we can see if it's just the same crash.

Off-topic:
with the amount of code churn and added complexity for WebComponents it's no surprise we'll find the occasional stability issue. Tossing all "it crashes" into a single place won't help solve it, so let's keep things a bit better organized, shall we? If there's a crash on Google Search, separate topic. If there's a reddit crash, check the crash details and if different from the google crash, separate topic. Add steps to reproduce, add troubleshooting info, add crash details if you have them.

I made a clean fresh profile as you put it and the mp4 played in browser no problems. I'll probably figure it out eventually and if not it's seemingly no big deal.

I do use Basilisk, I was just asking for PM too, and as JoeyG found it can happen too.

EDIT:
The culprit for me is the NoScript add-on. I thought it was deemed OK to use with Basilisk.

Basilisk uses the same platform as Pale Moon, the main differences are in the UI.

Win7 with PM 32.2.0 32bit here, I can confirm that the browser instantly crashes when NoScript is enabled and active blocking rules are enabled when trying to open the video URL. When I switch NoScript to "allow scripts globally" and then load the URL it works fine. The same issue does not occur on PM 32.1.1, which is why I am sticking to that version for now until this issue is resolved.

Reminder that using NoScript with Pale Moon disqualifies you from support here for well explained reasons. The short version is that it doesn't play well at all with PM and can cause irreparable damage to your profile even after uninstalling it, and is not worth the troubleshooting effort given that the one that works here is abandoned to begin with. eMatrix is the preferred alternative for similar functions.

It is upto Basilisk-dev if he wants to follow the same policy.
