Whenever a swf file is loaded and on screen, the browser ends up lagging like crazy.

Have you tried restarting the browser already?, does it happen again after a restart?, if so, after a few minutes again or immediately?

I did restart it, but that did not work. What ended up working was troubleshooting compatibility and switch it to Windows Vista (Service Pack 2). That got rid of the freezing caused by the swf files.

I did restart it, but that did not work. What ended up working was troubleshooting compatibility and switch it to Windows Vista (Service Pack 2). That got rid of the freezing caused by the swf files.

That wouldn't work. Nothing bad is happening when it's not freezing, so no errors would be there.
