Trying to install Lightspark

Unread post by Merlin66 » 2023-01-28, 05:53

Win11:
Pale Moon:
64-bit browser?:

I have many Sky and Telescope DVD disks which require Adobe Flash to view and interact with the data.
It was recommended that a combination of Lightspark and Pale Moon would allow me to access the magazines etc on the DVD's.
The Lightspark installation procedure just says:
Open Pale Moon and go to "about:profiles". Search for Profile Folder and press Open Folder button.
Create "plugins" folder
Paste files

I can't find any "about:profiles" to allow me to finish installation.
Can some one help???
Ken

Unfortunately even after a good install of Lightspark the folders on the DVD's would not open.
Bumma.

Lightspark is not a 100% complete implementation of Adobe Flash, so it may not work in some cases. If you don't mind nonfree software, I suggest installing this patched version of the Flash Player plugin: https://github.com/darktohka/clean-flash-builds
