Pale Moon forum

It's only doing it on the Pale Moon browser itself. Trying this in Google Chrome sets it to the English language start screen. I am an American and I never left the United States, nor I have ever left this, or have any connections to any Russians. I also do not use a VPN. I also did not change the home page URL. I want to know if this is happening to other users as well.

Please send an e-mail support request to support@start.me if you're being given the incorrect language version of the start portal. Also let them know your public IP address (if you don't know, go to http://ip-api.com and it will tell you) when you do and they will be able to look into it.

start.me sometimes uses GeoLocation information that is not correct. The whois information for my ip network is correct, but they also redirected me to the wrong language.

Then how to explain this moment?

It would appear this issue is not universal as I have had no problems with start.me in this regard with any of the recent Pale Moon updates (including both the https://palemoon.start.me/start page as well as my personal start-page with start.me). Currently running PM v31.4.1 (32-bit) on Win10.

It depends on your IP address and physical location whether this occurs or not. As stated you should write to start.me's support to signal them their geo selection is erroring (it happened before, to me also) and they can look into it and solve it/help you. Nobody else can do anything about it; we don't run the start.me service.

Opened up Palemoon today and it's back to english thankfully.
