Backspace Exits To Pale Moon Welcome Page
Windows:
In my game, in the chat or PM Box, if I hit Backspace for any reason it exits the game and goes to the Pale Moon welcome page.
I don't have Ctrl, Caps, Alt, Shift or anything else active. Just backspace and it exits.

What version of PM?
What game (URL) & can others get to it (without login or whatnot)?
Is it only with that one game where this occurs?

Is this a plugin-based game?

therube:
The latest? This started after the last update, just the other day.
It's called 'Guns N Magic' and was a FaceBook game, but when Flash ended it moved to its own servers. In Russia. You can't access it without signing up and somehow getting it to run without Flash (like I used Pale Moon to do! Using an old version of Flash). Their "launcher" didn't remotely work for me.
It's the only game I play with Pale Moon, the backspace works here though.
Moonchild:
I have no idea. It's Flash based and used to be a Facebook game. It started after the last Pale Moon update went through. There are never any game updates :p
It does it in the chat, PM boxes or even in the normal game. My cat may have stepped on something to trigger it, but I can't imagine what that might have been. It should have stopped by now.
I press 'backspace' and it goes back one page, not back one space in the text boxes.
Edit: Outside this text window? Hitting Backspace sends it back a page! Here in the Forums, not this box... so weird! Is it supposed to do that?

There is a workaround that you can do, but this will disable backspace navigation functionality for all pages: Go to about:config and set the value of the preference browser.backspace_action to 2

Have you tried the Back arrow key on your numeric keys?

Re: Backspace Exits To Pale Moon Welcome Page
Then it is indeed a plugin-based game. Flash is a plugin. I'll have a look if there's anything specific i need to be handling for plugins.
In the address bar, type about:config and press enter
This opens the advanced configuration editor of the browser (after a warning)
In the configuration editor there is a "filter" bar at the top. type the word "backspace" in there.
Find the preference FranklinDM mentioned, double-click it, and in the input box, enter the number "2"
