Change MDN integration to UDN on Developer tools

Unread post by Disil07 » 2022-05-14, 04:55

I just discovered that PM has a feature called 'Show MDN Docs' when right clicking on specific CSS elements in devtools:

Because it's no longer worked (idk since when), can we have the feature re-implemented, but all the URL changed to UDN by realityripple?
Debian 12 Bookworm - KDE Plasma 5.27
Intel Celeron N5100 - 4 gigs of RAM - 256 gigs of SSD

I can barely speak english, so bear that in mind when talking to me

This feature has been broken for a long time, most likely since Firefox 43 (bug #1201600).

We can either remove the tooltip and make this open a new tab directly, either to MDN or UDN. The file that needs to be modified is MdnDocsWidget.js. Alternatively, we can remove all of this completely, as it was done with Firefox (bug #1382171, bug #1352801)
