Wrong spell check in Gmail

Post by ulfelf » 2011-09-02, 08:48

When I try to write a mail in Gmail, the spell check is completely wrong language.
I am from Sweden and when I run Gmail in IE, Firefox or Chrome, everything works ok
Trying to write a mail in Gmail using Palemoon, it seems the language spell check is in English in some way

Can't seem to change this behavior

Any tips so the spell check will work correctly for me?

Seeing all those red "squiggleys" under nearly every word is a bit annoying.

Thanks in advance!

Grab the Swedish dictionary from Mozilla:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... age-tools/

After installing, right-click a text input box and change the spelling setting appropriately. That should have you set!

Hello

Same problem here. Can't find spell checker for Swedish. I have installed the Locale but I need spelling as well.

Thanks for any advice :-)

Go to the above URL and find Swedish, then click on the link to get the dictionary ;)
Next, right-click a multi-line text input box and select "Swedish" under "Languages"
