Amazon | Site search no longer working | v28.7.2 (64-bit)
Recently, the search on Amazon site is no longer working for me. I had an older version of Pale Moon but i updated today and the issue is still reproducible. I have 2 add ons installed & i disabled them just to check if they were causing issue but it did not make any difference.
Steps:
1. Open any page on Amazon (example: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13668894/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1)
2. Start typing a new title in the search box on top
Expected: amazon will start suggesting titles which match it
Actual: nothing happens and i cant even start typing anything into the text box
For now, i have switched to Chrome to just use Amazon search but please help resolve.
OS: Win 10 64-bit Build 1803
Pale moon version: v28.7.2 (64-bit)
Screenshot of the issue attached. I see loading icon on the page (indicated in image) - maybe this helps in resolving the issue.

- We don't support grossly outdated versions. 28.* has many quite severe security issues and you would do well to update immediately.
- So which is it... IMDB or Amazon?

@ slayer213
I clicked on the link you provided, went to the Amazon site, typed in "matrix" and the site started listing all the suggestions. I even clicked on one of the suggestions and that page came up.
Moonchild is correct. The version of Pale Moon you are using is way too and is causing problems.
At this time, I'm using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 29.4.3 running in 64 bit linux Mint 20.2 (Uma) Xfce. The only extension I am using is uBlock Origin (1.16.4.30) and it is enabled for Amazon.

Re: Amazon | Site search no longer working | v28.7.2 (64-bit)
Sorry i meant IMDB.
I am trying to update it via the browser update but it doesn't do anything. It downloads the update, restarts the browser but doesn't load it. Instead, pale moon exe keeps running in background which i have to force close. Then i restart via the desktop icon & it loads the existing 28 version. The update is broken. I will try to download the full version & install separately.
Re: Amazon | Site search no longer working | v28.7.2 (64-bit)
No - don't install separately and further complicate things. Install it over your existing installation - if I'm right the installer will auto detect that Pale Moon is already installed and offer to update it. Set the installation directory to wherever Pale Moon is installed - usually under C:\Program Files unless you changed the default.

IMDB and Amazon search work fine in PM 29.4.3 here on MX Linux 21 (Debian Bullseye versions built from source for MX).
Re: Amazon | Site search no longer working | v28.7.2 (64-bit)
Both work fine on the same on Windows 10.
