Re: Missing security protocols for a bank login
Ironically, the banks site has been down this morning but I tried it anyways and received this error, I get the same error with the original log in page, so I will have to wait;therube wrote: ↑2021-12-09, 17:34See if the page (form) you initiate the login from makes any difference?
Go here, https://www3.mtb.com/, & click the 'Log In >' button there.
Enter your un/pw.
Does that log you in or are you still redirected to the "error" page?

"M&T Mobile Banking is temporarily unavailable and we're working to resolve the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience." Yeah seems they are having issues XD

Please make sure User Agent Mode is set to Firefox Compatibilityvideobruce wrote: ↑2021-12-09, 17:57"Secure Connection Failed;

(Preferences -> Advanced -> General tab -> Compatibility, pull-down menu).
And if you're using any extension that spoofs the useragent, reset it to your real UA, then disable it.
Clear cache and MTB cookies, refresh the page if it was open.
Then try logging in again at therube's page.
Don't have an account, but I put in dummy info and got a different, more expected result using therube's page.
It directed to here, https://onlinebanking.mtb.com/Login/MTBSignOn, with this message:
"You have entered an invalid User ID and/or Passcode. Please try again."

Re: Missing security protocols for a bank login
Did all of the above and the same message as I posted. It's gotten to a point it really isn't worth all of this, I'll just use FF since I'm not accessing that site everyday anyway.
I tried that last link with bogus sign in and also received what you received so the login is accepting my sign in it's just getting lost in the website somehow.

Re: Missing security protocols for a bank login
Well their site is back up, I checked in in FF.
When I used the suggested log in address, I still get "Secured Connection Failed" per my previous post.
