Open all links and URLs in the new tab next to the current active tab

Unread post by amymor » 2021-09-14, 22:36

Hello
Somtimes i browse a lot of tabs (about 500 tabs per day) But when I open an Internet shortcut (.url) or a link or etc in new tab, it goes to the last tab, so I have to manually drag and drop it next to the active tab. it's too annoying.

In the following cases, I want the links open in the new tab next to the active tab without losing focus of active tab:
1. When I right-click on a link in websites and select the open in new tab (I achieved it with Tab Mix Plus)
2. When I right-click on a link in bookmarks-manager and select the open in new tab
3. When I double-click on a link in bookmarks-manager
4. When I open a link in toolbar

And in the following cases, I want the links open in the new tab next to the active tab and focus on the new tab:
1. When I open a intrent shortcut(.url)
2. When I open saved pages(.html)
3. When I open a website with command-line (example: palemoon.exe https://www.google.com)

Thanks

Do you have this checked in Preferences > Tabs? "Insert related tabs next to the current tab"

Yes, its checked. But i think its related to opening a link in websites not opening bookmark or url or etc.

https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/tabtweak/ might be of assistance
Thanks it worked in fresh pale moon(portable) But didnt work in my main pale moon. I think its not compatible with Tab Mix Plus. So i used Tab Utilities Phoenix(https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/tab-u ... s-phoenix/) and Session Manager(https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/session-manager/) instead Tab Mix Plus.

Here is my settings may helpful for someone like me:
