Sync Bookmarks in local network only

Is there any way to sync bookmarks without using a public server? I used XMarks so far which is dead with 29.2 obviously and cannot use any cloud service.

Not really short of setting up a local sync server and using it.

AND BEFORE ANYONE ELSE STARTS.. Like Dnes for example, profile mangling is not supported and even if it was.. to do file system-based sync of profile-related files requires all instances of the Application on all systems to be closed.

I couldn't find any information about an on premise server available somewhere. Is PM Sync server available for a local installation?

Most people either don't care about sync or use ours or use a barely supported extension on some personal cloud server monstrosity.

I don't see the point of mentioning it there since that page is about the specific sync service I run, not for sync in general.
