About:Config Settings List?

Is there a reasonably comprehensive list of about:config settings with brief explanations of what each setting does?

Other than the outdated mozillazine KB articles, there is not.

Remember, you shouldn't be messing in about:config to begin with unless you have a good reason and know what you are doing. You'll get roasted by dragons otherwise.

Yes, thank you, and I imagine we all know that. But there are specific things one might wish to change. How does a developer find out what a given config setting does?

Usually I read the source code, if I really need to search for a specific setting.

I was afraid that might be the "answer".

EDIT: By that, I mean that I'm not confident that would help, not being a developer myself.
