Pale Moon Freezing

I love Pale Moon. It's been my primary browser since I discovered it some time back. However, the last couple of weeks or so, I have had some bad regular freezing issues. Every twenty or thirty seconds maybe, anything I do in the browser will freeze for a couple of seconds. From typing this right now, to scrolling, to watching a flash video, etc. The whole browser freezes. It's not random, but rather constant and regular.
Any ideas what might cause an issue like this, and how I can fix it? It's making using the browser for regular usage near impossible.
Thanks!

Welcome :)

You mentioned Flash, almost all versions are buggy for some people, it may be unrelated here (or tied into the security question below) though.

What hardware, laptop or desktop/tower, GPU especially, do you have? Which OS and Service Pack #? What security software (AV, antimalware, firewall) are you using?

See also http://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2093 and ensure you add any missing details from there.

I would have blamed flash if it was just Youtube or something, but it's the whole browser.
Windows 8 x64, Core i7 2600k, 16 GB RAM, GTX 670.
AV is Bitdefender, but I have been using it for a long time without any issues. This just cropped up recently. I was at first thinking nVidia drivers, but I have updated to the most recent ones since then, and it's still persistent.

Updated your graphic drivers.
If updating doesn't help, try disabling Hardware Acceleration.
If neither of the two options above work, test your browser with a clean profile.

Yes, and follow satrow's advice, the more information we have at-hand the better.

Looks like it may have been not one of my add-ons, but one of my Plugins. I just disabled everything but flash, and that particular issue seems to have disappeared. Thanks for the helpful ideas guys. I appreciate it.
