Netflix Error F7352
Pale Moon version 28.11.0 on Windows 7. I get this error on every movie I try to play with this new version.
Also, in YouTube I get the skip the ads icon on every video now.

Re: Netflix Error F7352
I have successfully restored Netflix video on two laptops by reverting to more explicit useragent strings.
Under ABOUT:CONFIG, look up useragent.override
Netflix has two entries: netflix.com and neflximg.net
Both need to be changed. I used the following:
(Windows 7, 64bit)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:45.9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.9
(Windows 8.1, 64bit)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 8.1; WOW64; rv:45.9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.9
I have yet to verify, but I assume that the following would work for windows 10:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:45.9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.9

Why would you not use an adblocker, or not keep your filter subscriptions up to date if you do?

Re: Netflix Error F7352
It requires DRM. On Windows, you can use it on Pale Moon with the Silverlight plugin. Basilisk has DRM built in but it needs to be updated and hope of that happening is pretty much dead right now.
I keep Firefox on Linux purely for Netflix and Amazon Prime because of the DRM requirement, if only the Basilisk one was updated I'd ditch it in a flash.

Unless the team manages to get a new developer who both has the know-how to do that, and is also willing to play games of hide and seek with Google very often, at least with regard to things like Amazon Prime, since Google likes to arbitrarily change things to make Widevine no longer work every once in a while.

Yeah, pretty much. I wish Pipelight on Linux actually worked, as an alternative.

Re: Netflix Error F7352
I use Adblock Latitude 5.0.8, but I now get a white screen in almost all YouTube videos with a small skip the ad message in the lower right part of the video screen. I have to click on it to see the video although the ad never plays.
Re: Netflix Error F7352
THANK YOU!!! This worked!!

Re: Netflix Error F7352
Surprising, since those are the default overrides.

Re: Netflix Error F7352
Netflix appear to have updated their abysmal 'help' pages, Netflix system requirements for HTML5 Player and Silverlight includes details for Silverlight 4+5 which indicate that only x86 browsers might work, SL5 will (allegedly) work with IEx64: (64-bit mode support for Internet Explorer only).
x86 Basilisk has been my choice for a couple of months, about to side load Pale Moon x86 and test it again.
EDIT: Pale Moon x86 Silverlight plays Netflix here - if the spinning circle goes on too long, right-click the play area then left-click the Silverlight button, it might get it working.

Thanks for the UA overrides, Alaskan_User.
This fixed the issue at my end too, using Win8.1,x64!

Re: Netflix Error F7352
Yes, this is stated on Netflix's requirements page (which satrow linked to above):
Basically, WOW64 tells Netflix that we're running a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit system.https://help.netflix.com/en/node/23742/ wrote:
Silverlight 4:
x86 or x64 (Browsers must be in 32-bit mode)
Silverlight 5:
x86 or x64 (64-bit mode support for Internet Explorer only)
Re: Netflix Error F7352
I've pushed WOW64 strings to both via dynamic UA updates.
It's rather silly that they block 64-bit when 64-bit NPAPI silverlight players ARE available.

Re: Netflix Error F7352
Using Netflix in either Pale Moon or Basilisk and right-clicking the player screen results in a Silverlight x64 popup, I guess Silverlight installs both x86 and x64 versions:
Sheesh! After 2.5 episodes of an Oz series, I now have to look for something else... or maybe I should reach for my eye patch and cutlass? The new error code isn't even clickable, maybe they haven't sold the advertising rights to Quantas yet.

Re: Netflix Error F7352
Killed the Silverlight plugin container and configurator.exe, switched to Basilisk - and Ep.3 plays fine there.
Back to occas. hunting for logic/patterns in Netflix, I may be some time.

@satrow:
Have you modified the UA overrides at all?
I'm on Win8.1Pro(x64), and Netflix works just fine for me now, both with the 32-bit and 64-bit version of Pale Moon.
* For Pale Moon 64-bit, I'm using the corresponding UA override, which Alaskan_User posted here:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=24764#p194894
* For Pale Moon 32-bit, the UA override doesn't need to be modified, as the default one still does its job!
I only have the 64-bit version of M$ Silverlight installed on my system, so that's the only configuration panel I get, when right-clicking the player screen (both for the 32-bit and 64-bit version of Pale Moon).
Given all the available info, and from what I'm experiencing, the F7352 error can be completely avoided, as long as Netflix thinks that we're using a 32-bit browser!

Re: Netflix Error F7352
Native 64 UA doesn't have WOW64 in it, it has x64 in it instead.
