I just came from watching a few YouTube videos and I have not had problems in doing so. The streaming video I was watching is at the link below and I was watching it in 1440p60HD.

I'm using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 28.8.1 running in (as of this posting) 64 bit linux Mint 19.3 (Tricia) Xfce. The only extensions I'm using are NoSquint and uBlock Origin. YouTube sees my user agent mode as Firefox Compatibility.

YouTube should be seeing your user agent as Firefox/42 as per the built in SSUOA.

it appears to be youtube center causing it, are there any modern equivalents? i would greatly prefer to not go without some of the features i've come to rely on.
