No, it's not what it was - which IIRC was a genuine yt backdoor - but as an alternative to the yt site, it's just fine.

I just allowed the site in eMatrix for the captcha and it worked fine, it still gave the warning but it worked so I just ignored it but then I saw a Dismiss button for the warning...no more warning

I had heard of this before but never checked it out, quite a lot of content and it works fine in both Pale Moon and Basalisk.
Very basic plain jane UI/controlls. Scrolling down the pages can be a tad laggy loading the next, be patient.

Youtube, AFAIK, has never provided support for Palemoon.

I get this warning too on Linux and I'm inclined to ignore it.

This is a fantastic point. Google has to my knowledge NEVER made any effort specifically for us. They barely do it for their Controlled Opposition so this is not a big surprise.

Also, Pale Moon is TWO words.

Confirmed, I'm getting the message suddenly on Windows 10 Home 1909 x64 and Pale Moon 28.8.2 x64.
