Unread post by Alojz » 2011-10-23, 12:29

Hello!

I am using Pale Moon 7.0.1 x64 (latest version)

Installed wmp plugin:

http://www.interoperabilitybridges.com/ ... n-download

After instalation, tested if plugin is working
Wmp plugin is instaled but i get message, that i need to install wmp plugin, and there is not such plugin in Pale Moon - addons - plugin section.

http://hg.mozilla.org/qa/litmus-data/ra ... layer.html

How can i fix this to run on x64 Firefox/PaleMoon browser, is there alternative plugin, registry hack, some dll files or something?

Regards!!!

The WMP plugin is not available in an x64 flavor. This is one of the main drawbacks of running an x64 browser: plugin creators often do not have 64-bit versions available.

See the download page where this is mentioned: http://www.palemoon.org/palemoon-x64.shtml
Many plugins are either not available or not officially released yet for 64-bit browsers. This will mostly hamper things like in-browser document viewers and media plugins. Most extensions (add-ons), however, do work, not to be confused with plugins.

The only plugins that I know are available in x64 versions are Flash, Java, DivX Player, AlternaTIFF, and PDF viewers PDF-Xchange and (unofficial builds of) SumatraPDF; also Silverlight 5 RC is available in x64.
