broken extensions in PM19x64? maybe?

Hi. Well, I was going to make a post about some nagging issues with this particular build of PM, but I just restarted the browser one more time (it was like the 10th time? nfi why it decided to actually do something this time). All of my original gripes were resolved after this restart, except personas still won't apply new themes, which is a little confusing since it started displaying a generic personas theme on this restart. I figured I should still make the post anyway since there's that to address, plus it might provide some insight to anyone else experiencing the issues I was having.

Hi, first post on the forums and I'd like to open saying that I've been using pale moon since 3.x and I love it as a lightweight alternative to FF. However, in the update to 19.0.1 I had some issues (ranging from trivial to slightly problematic) and I'll be honest in that I'm not 100% sure where I should've put this thread. firstly, I'm using pale moon 19.0.1-x64 on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit, I was using a personas theme but after following the basic troubleshooting instructions in the sticky personas broke? (lol wut)
Anyway, normally I have PM pinned to my taskbar, so I thought it was kind of strange that when it updated it created a new tab instead of opening in the pinned one, thinking nothing of it, I just removed the old pinned tab and replaced it with the current one. this is trivial and I'm not sure if it was meant to happen or just a side effect of something known or what, but whatever, that wasn't that particularly important to me, however, later on in using it, I noticed that of my installed extensions (ABP, noscript, ghostery, personas, a game web launcher that's been deactivated for eons and am not sure why I haven't removed) only personas and ABP were actually working. the options and setup for noscript and ghostery are still appearing as normal, but neither are blocking anything as they should, their context menus are gone, and so are their status bar icons, which I can't seem to re-add. I did some light searching and saw nothing about this on ghostery or NS's sites, nor on mozilla.org or even here on these forums. I did see one partially related thread here but it doesn't really seem completely relevant to my issue. also, as mentioned earlier after resetting toolbars and preferences even personas broke (UI options are now gone, can't set new themes) it is also worth noting that I have a laptop using the /exact/ same setup and experiences only the not-openning-from-pinned-app thing. it'd kinda suck if one of my addons is causing the issue but I've tried disabling them 1 and 2 at a time with no real change.
