Side2.no and Side3.no - Videos won't play

What's preventing videos from being played at side2.no and side3.no?

Examples:

(Scroll down a bit, to locate the video)

Lots of errors in the console, but don't know which is the relevant one(s).
The videos seems to play just fine in other browsers.

(Pale Moon v28.3.1,x64 / Win8.1Pro,x64)

Both videos play fine for me. Make sure that cookies are enabled.

Cookies are enabled, so that's not it.

Are you sure that the videos play at your end?
I'm talking about the main clips, not the annoying ads that comes before.

I get the same results as you do. The side2 and side3 videos do not play. I've got the standard Pale Moon default settings for cookies. I even disabled uBlock Origin 1.16.4.8 as well and still "no joy".

I'm using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 28.3.1 running in 64 bit linux Mint 19.1 (Tessa) Xfce. User agent is Firefox Compatibility mode.

2 worked.

3 did not.
Not sure why? I'm in the US, if that matters.
Not in PM, SeaMonkey, nor FF.
I do get a "timeline", & I can manually click to a different point in the timeline, but no actual video.

Both videos play fine for me.

Both videos loads in a frame, both used amazonaws.com as CDN + frames from googleapis.com + 20+ third-party scripts from 20+domains... so - maybe uBlock does not turn off completely? (maybe bug) This was the case with uMatrix in earlier versions.(~2y ago).

there is no 3-rd video, it a picture, tag <IMG>

Videos on both sites did play here. (PM 28.3.1, Win 7 x86)

To be clear about which videos:
side2.no = 2.50 min. video about Freddie Mercury;
side3.no = 1:38 min. video about BMWs

When dom storage was enabled, it was also necessary to allow cookies from tv2.no for side2.no.
(If dom storage was disabled, the videos played for me on both sites even without cookies.)

Edit:
Adblocker (uBO) was enabled, but since I normally block 3rd-party scripts/frames, had to allow content from tv2.no for side2.no.

None works for me on PM 28.3.1.
Only Side 2 works on PM-unstable (no adblockers)

2 works (freddy mercury tribute movie clip)
3 does not -- errors in the console indicate they are using brightcove player and need to update their page scripting

Yeah, I get the same results as you now.
Don't know why the first one didn't work earlier.
The fact remains though, that the second video seems to work just fine in other browsers.

The brightcove video on side3.no plays fine here.

Perhaps, for people for whom that video doesn't play, some cross-site-request is blocked from brightcove.com...?
Or script blocked from players.brightcove.net...?

No, I don't report problems, unless I've tried to disable all forms of blocking first.

Side 2 worked for me, but Side 3 did not. I tried enabling cookies for Side 3, but it did not help.

Your security and other restrictions are to blame. The point is XHR, witch blocked by many extensions and antiviruses in the "paranoid" mode.
Во всем виноваты ваши настройки "безопасности" и прочие ограничения. Дело в XHR, а их блокируют многие расширения и антивирусы в параноидальном режиме.
