I've Nvidia GeForce GT 220, with the last display driver version. The driver never did problems.
The green flashes occurs only in Pale Moon, not in Firefox.

Well, last time I have seen green rectangles instead of the video it was driver problem. AFAIK it may be a sign of decoding problems.

Try disabling hardware acceleration, see if that gets rid of the green flash.

Tools --> Preferences --> Advanced --> General --> Use hardware acceleration when available (untick)

This would more lost frames in the videos.
