You can export them as a html file from PM's bookmarks manager, then import the html file in the chrome's bookmaks manager

Well, no. It is called the bookmark backup tool for a reason.
Not sure what options you have for exporting passwords... you might try FEBE, but I don't know what kind of export format it uses or what kind of import format Chrome takes.

You could try this: https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/password-backup-tool/#Rickkins wrote:~Sigh~....

Seems like such a daunting process to transfer to a different browser when there's so many bookmarks with passwords. The prospect of manually transferring them is, to say the least, daunting....

Off-topic:
Passwords are completely unrelated to bookmarks; they are stored in completely separate databases within your user profile.
Did you try FEBE? What sort of export file does it give you?Passwords are completely unrelated to bookmarks; they are stored in completely separate databases within your user profile.

Password protection of bookmarks is not native to Pale Moon (if that's what this is about),
so presumably you used an add-on for that ("Hush", "Link Password" or similar) or other software.
Does that extension have a back-up/export/import function?
And does it have a version for Chrome?Rickkins wrote:export just the bookmarks toolbar to Chrome

Or were you just speaking of "storing" passwords as notes in your bookmarks' Description fields?
