i've noticed for a while now that they don't work. most commonly run into it on reddit. the gfycat site itself works fine. sample link here: https://www.reddit.com/r/blackmagicfuck ... ool_table/

PM 28.2.2-x32 confirmed, with Hardware acceleration on/off, all Media extensions on/off, uBo off, checked in all modes Native, Gecko,...
The whole video navbar doesn't work. Source video does.
Drop reddit a malfunction note?

Does not work in FF 64 either.
(Anyone know if it works in Chrome?)

Do you know if it Is all gfycat (presumably embedded) on reddit or only this particular one?

It's an issue with Reddit. They are serving embedded content from "www.redditmedia.com" frame which has x-frame-options: SAMEORIGIN set.
In console:
Load denied by X-Frame-Options: https://www.redditmedia.com/mediaembed/ ... nsive=true does not permit cross-origin framing.
"reddit.com" not being the same origin, cannot embed this content. Embedded frame also reports 404 which may or may not be related.
