I haven't used Internet Explorer in probably ten years, so it may have gone by the wayside as well.
That being said, the one thing that I miss is the ability to save bookmarks in numerous folders with just a single click (or maybe two).
All of my other browsers, PaleMoon included, have the most annoying habit of only offering me the option to "Edit" the location of a bookmark.
There are many real reasons why I would want a bookmark to be available in more than one folder and I would rather not have to jump through hoops and run through burning rings of fire to accomplish it.
Is there any way to change the default bookmarks behavior such that, instead of the silly "Edit this Bookmark", I could just bookmark to another folder of my choosing and the previous bookmark remain where it already is ?
Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

Re: Bookmark in More than one Folder ?
Maybe like this:
open the sidebar > drag the tab with the web address on the folder of your choice, then do the same for another folder = three clicks for two folders (or two clicks in case both folders are on the bookmarks toolbar).

Thanks; I will give that a try and see how it works out.Konrad wrote:Maybe like this:

It would be wonderful if one could just change the behavior in "settings".

Maybe I am missing something here; when I open the bookmarks menu, I grab the tab that I want to bookmark and the bookmarks menu immediately disappears.
Surely this sidebar you speak of is something I don't yet know how to bring up.

Re: Bookmark in More than one Folder ?
You can add the Bookmarks Sidebar button to the Toolbar or Status Bar — just drag the Bookmarks button from the Customize Toolbar window.
When you press (1) the Bookmarks Sidebar button, the list of your bookmarks will open on the left side of the browser window (2).
I proposed drag-and-drop method for creating new bookmarks that are not listed in your Library yet.
If you want to create some additional copies of the bookmarks that already exist, you can use copy-paste method within the Library.
