Pale Moon 28.0.0 Conflict With MS Office 2016

Intel I5, 16GB RAM, 64-bit
Win 7 SP 1 Updates through July 2018

Palemoon (32 bit) 28.0.0 seems to conflict with MS Office 2016.

I always have PM open when working.
Problem initially noticed with Outlook taking way too long to load with intermittent message (Not Responding).
I update employer's website and need to open documents people send for the website in Word so I can save as a PDF.
Word takes way too long to open - has (Not Responding) in bar and looks almost as if it is going to crash.

I initially thought I was having some type of hardware issue, but after closing PM, the problem with Office 2016 disappeared.

Just letting you know.

If you restart PM in Safe Mode, does the interference persist?

(Wonder why PM would have an effect on Office. Or I wonder if it might not be Office sticking its nose into PM?)

Have no issues with Office 16 and Pale Moon 28 on Windows 10 with latest updates.

Restarting in safe mode made no difference.

Just an update. I had five updates come through from MS. Wary of at least one. Performed four of the five updates and the issue went away.
