text bleeding (shadowing) has returned in v28

Unread post by Pallid Planetoid » 2018-08-16, 23:52

It appears I'm getting text shadowing again that I noticed on my last post (I actually do not recall this when I initially posted but did notice returning to the topic just now):

I do not recall this occurring during beta (but I'm clearly seeing it here again as I post this) -- so apparently it has started with the v28 release.

This issue is related to this topic which was taken care from what I can see in regards to the similar issue in this topic: Search bar changed in beta1 based on comments in this thread.

Hmm, now I'm not seeing it again -- no shadowing.... I'm using a laptop and it appears that it may be my screen -- because the issue is gone now after lifting the lid again (I closed and opened the laptop lid which appears to make a difference). Does this make sense?

This might explain why I didn't notice this behavior when posting the first time (after updating to v28).

The symptoms appear identical to what occurred that was discussed in the previous topic linked in my first post -- but the difference is that it was clearly persistent in regards to the previous topic linked and does not appear persistent at all now. So I apparently have to concluded that the identical symptom in both cases have different causative factors (because the first incident was persistent and in this case clearly not persistent and apparently involving an issue with my screen perhaps).
