Cloud backup

Which files would need to be backed up daily in order to access bookmarks, logins, etc. Would these files be amenable to real-time backup? Thanks!

The best option is probably making a backup of the whole profile directory.
On Linux it's called ".moonchild productions", I don't know on other systems.
That's a bit overkill as you're backing up every profile and some more, but if you're making a backup in the first place, better get everything.

real-time backup
"Real time", as in while PM is open?

If so, perhaps not.
Perhaps more so if you were making a complete backup of your Profile folder.
Perhaps less so if you were only selectively copying files. Like if you only wanted places.sqlite, that is fine, but from time to time there may exist intermediary file, likes places.sqlite.shm & places.sqlite.wal, that may also be needed, wanted.

If with "real-time" you mean you want to synchronize between open instances of Pale Moon, you can use Pale Moon Sync -- this is designed specifically for this purpose.
Manipulating/copying profiles outside of the browser while it's running is dangerous, can cause crashes and can cause your data to become corrupt, so that's not a good idea.
