Palemoon security setting ?

My health insurance provider rewrote their site again and in the process, the login to their 'pay your bill' screen now always fails with the following error:

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error

I'm guessing this is a single setting in about:config I need to adjust, especially since Basilisk connects with no issues. Can someone more techie give me the clue ? Thanks.

According to that Status-Code, the problem is on the server's side. If it only happens with Pale Moon, though, it's possible they just don't like Pale Moon. Have you tried a user agent override?

Bingo. Thanks, it has been accepting the default Palemoon user agent so long it didn't dawn on me they would suddenly get 'strict' about the server where you pay them....lol

There's still the question as to why the server doesn't like Pale Moon...

Some payment providers believe that they make their servers more "secure" by being strict about an easily-spoofable property like the user agent. What that really achieves though is just headaches for users, and does nothing to keep "bad web clients" at bay.
