uBlockOrigin addon

I use uBlockOrigin and I also have uBlockOrigin Updater installed in Palemoon.
I'm running two versions of FF ESR 52.8.0 which uses the old type addons and v 60.0.1 portable which uses the new type addons. uBO is at v 1.16.6 on both versions of FF in two computers that I've checked this morning. In PM v. 27.9.2 when I check for addon updates, it says there are none and yet uBO is at 1.16.4, two iterations below the current version.

Is uBlockOrigin no longer going to be updated through the updater?

I always just went to https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases and installed the most recent Legacy version. First I've heard of the Updater.

So looks like according to that, it's been fixed to work with the Legacy version.? And can be downloaded at

Yes. I have it (1.5.0) installed and it picks up the legacy updates (currently 1.16.4).

Yes, it works flawlessly. I've been using it for quite a while now.
