How do I add goodgopher to Pale Moon?

Unread post by Lassar » 2018-05-08, 16:20

I did a duckduckgo search and found out how to add a search engine to the search bar.

It said to go to the search page and click to the search bar, click on add "Good Gopher".

This does not work. Pale Moon said it could not download the xml plugin.

So how do I add GoodGopher to the search bar?

Add it from here instead:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/goodgopher/
Never mind that the "Add to Firefox" button and the cursor tells you that it's unsupported.
It works.

I am making a new "puppy linux" cd.

The above did work on a another "puppy linux" , but now I can't find the plugin on this page.

Using user agent switcher.

Checking my user agent on various websites, says I am using windows 10 firefox.

I see a button that says "only with firefox - get firefox now.

But no plugin !

I don't get it, I thought search plugins were simply a xml file.
