no camera video
I can't get my surveillance footage (avi) to play on windows media player and it doesn't send an email message with a snapshot to Thunderbird. yet all these work if I am using Google Chrome browser.

Hello!
Or you lack of some codecs for see video (install codecs like from K-lite may solve this) or your camera is expecting the User Agent (UA) only from chrome. Or you can try if Basilisk can solve the trouble as the camera may use some libs not present in Pale Moon.
Anyway you need to say the model of camera, vendor and all the details if you want further help.
