New Files in Profile Folder
I recently browsed through my profile folder and noticed a couple of newer files.
key4.db
pkcs11.txt
In Firefox, key3.db used to be the key file for the password file. Has it been replaced by key4.db? If not, what is key4.db used for?
It's just a text file, but what is the purpose of pkcs11.txt?
This is just to satisfy my curiosity. Thanks!

Re: New Files in Profile Folder
Thanks. It's part of the Cryptographic Token Interface, which is over my head, but now I know where it came from.
Any idea on key4.db?

Thanks for that. I didn't think to check mozillaZine. I don't stop in there very often since I moved to Pale Moon. That answers it all!Moonraker wrote:Heres a link for you .

Re: New Files in Profile Folder
I guess he's doing well. I stop in to their forum frequently. I'm still using v7.0. Version 8.0 crippled a couple of my machines and v10 is full of bloat and bugs. Why is it that good software has to become bloated and buggy the longer the devs mess with it? I guess that they think they're improving it, but in my opinion, if it works well, don't mess with it! That's why I moved to Pale Moon. I feel that Firefox is too bloated and the devs took away most of the ability to customize it. What a shame...Moonraker wrote:glad it was helpful.Ah i see you use comodo internet security.I used comodo all the time i used windows. How is melih these days.
