Doesn't about:memory show a tree view with usage from different pages?

It can in a round about way but it isn't an exact science. I gather this person wants Chrome or e10s absolutes.. That isn't a thing here.

well if you know how your system runs fairly well then you can approximate by using a task manager or resource indicator which most operating systems have,.
Just observe what ram is doing with browser open and open a tab and then do the mathematics.I say a task manager should indicate these things but i personally do not watch for such things.

In this thread of K-Meleon forum someone had commented on an extension that allows to measure the memory usage of the tabs (and apparently it works in Pale Moon).
