config: Pale Moon 27.7.2 (32-bit) with Win 7 32 (no extension, Adobe Flash 28.0.0.161 plugin)
on an account "https://plus.google.com", impossible to play videos*, the following message appears:



I tested with another browser, Opera, everything is OK, the videos are visible.
I also tested with Pale Moon portable, impossible to view videos even error message.
new test on another PC in Win 7 64
Pale Moon > no error message
Ciberfox > yes

FWIW, I have the youtube UA Override pref set at the following non-default value:
general.useragent.override.youtube.com set to Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0... What is yours set at?

If you don't have youtube set at this value you could see if this makes a difference....

by changing this value by your own, the video of the plus.google account still doesn't work
(but your video is working)
precision : it's on a personal account plus.google.com/communitie

how about posting errors from the devtools error and web console? You can also try to activate or deactivate the MSE feature checkboxes in the options to see if that makes a difference.

took note of this advice,
to access non-visible videos, this is impossible due to the "plus. google. com/communities/..." account that requires usernames and passwords as well as the consent of the account holder.

Have done some tests now on my own, embedded Youtube videos here work flawless without MSE activated.

Try to delete all google. and youtube. related cookies, or do you have some strange video codec pack installed inside your Windows version?

You could try physically resetting parts of your Network (for example; recently an alternate start-page would simply not load at all for me no matter what I did [tried everything browser related i.e. clearing cookies, cache etc etc] that is until I reset my wireless modem which then cleared the problem).

If no help with resetting your Network then as a long-shot you could also try flushing your DNS. Enter "ipconfig /flushdns" (w/out quotes) from an *elevated command prompt.
* An elevated command prompt is : from Start > All Programs > Accessories then Right click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

The thing is however, my start-page load problem impacted all browsers which is not the case for you since other browsers work okay so doing the above might not be helpful in your case.

surprise, the videos are visible !
for security reasons, I came back to the latest version with this little inconvenience...
