ABP? Can it be you have adblock plus still installed? If yes, uninstall from your add-ons and replace it with that ads-blocker here ;)

If they want a direct ABP replacement they probably want Adblock Latitude, not ABPrime.

Either way, the choice is yours. Both block ads. What works better for you, you should use. I suggest give both a try :)

Here are a couple of posts on differences between ABL and ABPrime. (In the first post, the description of ABL 3.5 (ABPrime's immediate ancestor) applies to ABPrime.): one, two.

An additional alternative, if you'll consider an adblocker other than ABP family, is uBlock Origin.

The xul version of the install file (the one to use with Pale Moon) looks like this: uBlock0.firefox.xpi

I apologize. I should have explained better that in its behavior, ABL is most alike later versions of ABP -- in blocking function and UI, they are pretty much equal, but they operate differently (each with pros and cons).

This is an update to my earlier post, due to this nice decision (and see here).

Not anymore.

Starting with uBO 1.16.4, the xul version of the install file (the one to use with Pale Moon) looks like this:
uBlock0.firefox-legacy.xpi.

The former xul installer (uBlock0.firefox.xpi) will become the web-extension installer - it is no longer the file to use for installing uBO to Pale Moon. (Releases through 1.16.2 will presumably remain xul.)
