Webm freeze while playing (audio advances)
Hello, a few days ago I started having this issue: When watching a .webm file on my browser it will often freeze for some seconds and then jump 2 or 3 seconds. This happens with some webms and at different times, theres no set rules. I had a webm freeze for 10 seconds, others for 2, and so forth.
Here's for example a webm that freezes 2 seconds in
https://i.4cdn.org/wsg/1516542489808.webm
I've uninstalled and made a clean installion of Flash player (idk if that works), uninstalled Java, tried PM in safe mode, updated to the latest PM version (27.7.1) but it still happens. This is the only browser this happens in. Please help me out! and
I am running win7 64-bit.
Thanks a lot in advance.

hmm So you reckon it could be something to do with the software in charge of managing webm files?

Difficult to tell what might be causing your issues - if it's just the video freezing up, it may be a video codec problem of a video driver problem. If you problems started at a specific point in time then you should think about whether you made changes to your system right before then (e.g. video driver update, any software installations or changes, etc.)biddybangbiddybom wrote:hmm So you reckon it could be something to do with the software in charge of managing webm files?

I have the same issue in Pale Moon 27.7.2 (32-bit) on all of my machines (2 Windows 7 x64 computers).
Check it out:

Works fine in Firefox and Chrome.

First link 404 not found, but the lust are itself, such recorded, not suitable for testing.
This problem with video exists indeed, and depends on OS, in windowses it is good, but in other may be not.

First video also 404 not found and I have the same problem with the second video=freezing for about 2 seconds. I tested also on PM unstable 27.8.0a1/64 / clean profile and the problem persist - periodically freezes for about 2 seconds.

Re: Webm freeze while playing (audio advances)
A cursory skimming makes me want to comment that these aren't necessarily browser-related issues.

Except for it is a browser issue since this video plays fine in all browsers but Pale Moon:moonie wrote:A cursory skimming makes me want to comment that these aren't necessarily browser-related issues.
