I'm trying to work with the developer of an extension called F.B. Purity which helps to "clean up" Facebook. It's an extension for Chrome and Firefox, but on Pale Moon it's just a Greasemonkey script.

Anyways, in order for me to help the guy solve the problem I need to give him the full HTML code of my Facebook news feed. The problem is, when I right click and select "View Source" in the context menu, it's not showing the entire HTML. There are a few elements missing. One of the things this extension/GM script does is add a small link on the top navbar of Facebook which simply says "FBP," and neither of us can find that element anywhere in the page source, even though I can see the link on the page.

Does anybody know of a browser extension I can get which would allow me to view the FULL page source, including these missing elements?

My guess is that you are opening the context menu within an iframe, so you are only being given the source of the document within the iframe.

You could try going to the Pale Moon menu -> Web Developer -> Inspector, then right click on the outermost <html> element and select Copy Outer HTML, and see if that grabs everything.

This is just a guess on my part of course.

Hey, that worked! Thanks so much. The FBP developer was able to update the extension and the GM script and solved the problem. Cheers!
