Fonts cut off at the top

Unread post by SLotman » 2018-01-19, 12:25

So, I finally managed to get hardware acceleration going on with palemoon for the first time, thanks to the wonderful people here :)

But now, my eyes are bleeding! Everytime I open Google search, the text is cut off on the top. See the image below (cut from the page, and zoomed in a lot to show the problem) - see every round character is cut on top.

Is there anything I can do? I tried messing with "gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.rendering_mode", changing it from 1 to 5, with not much of a difference.

Can anyone help me? I don't want to go back to un-hw-accelerated Palemoon :(
(I'm on Windows 8 btw)

Small update: if I change the zoom level to 110% or to 90%, the fonts are rendered perfectly.
