A bug or a problem on my side?

I'm having some issues but I'm not sure if it's Palemoon's fault so I decided to ask here.
Clearly it only happens with palemoon but since I have some background applications it can be those ones causing the problems.

First, eventually when coming back to Palemoon from another application, this appears minimized as much as the title bar thickness and a few inches wide only. I don't know why this happens.

The other is when wanting to launch Palemoon after having it closed, it tells me that there's already an open Palemoon process and that I should close that before opening a new one. This has been reported before around here, but didn't come to any conclusion really.

We assume you are using the latest version of Pale Moon?

Could you list the applications you have running when you have the problems?

Finally, if you try to launch Pale Moon immediately after closing it will give you "is already running" message. Give it sometime after closing so it can complete shut down and also close from the PM Application "Exit" button rather than the Windows button top right.

Sometimes a plugin like Adobe Flash keep waiting for data or hangs up. Check if the instance that is opened is "palemoon.exe" or "plugin-container.exe", if is the second then some plugin has troubles to finish after you close the browser. Any of these instances opened blocks the call of a new instance of palemoon.

yikes, I thought I had notify turned on.

I think it's enough for me to know this is only a problem on my side. So now I can start debugging.
I have many background applications, mainly to enhance usage; AltDrag, PerfectDisk, Everything, tooltipfixer, taskbarshuffle, antivir, a firewall (currently privatefirewall), 7plus (which actually I hate because I only need like 4 or 5 scripts), and a custom autohotkey script.

Maybe at the expense of some RAM (and bugs?) but with these apps I feel freedom in my OS. I will start debugging, maybe after a format. Because I also have a problem where pressing win+D hides also my taskbar, and that can be somewhat related.

@lobocursor: It just happened to me again, it was the process palemoon.exe, and I waited like 4 sec. I forgot to search a thing after closing, that's why.

Check the settings and history in your security software, they often treat Pale Moon as non-standard or untrusted software.
