Is the unstable build as secure as the stable - or more, or less?

As the title indicates, I'm wondering about the relative security of the unstable and stable builds.

My simple logic ("newer is better") indicates that the unstable build should include security updates that haven't yet made their way into the stable build - but I've been wrong before. :shifty:

Thank you.

It depends on where we are in a release cycle. The current relbranch may get them before trunk because releases need to be made first and foremost. If that happens.. Trunk will get them soon after.

Thank you.

So I wasn't wrong, but I wasn't right, either.
