Hi! Recently Pale Moon stopped viewing Gifs and Videos in Facebook. Not sure if it was a Pale Moon update. Have tried different browser skins to no avail. Don't know what else to try. No problems with these on other browsers. Any suggestions? Thanks!
High end Dell XP 8500 pc, Alienware 18 laptop. Both running Windows 10.

What version of Pale Moon are you using?
What do you have for your two useragent overrides for FB?
These are the current two UA overrides for FB:
Both general.useragent.override.facebook.com and general.useragent.override.fbcdn.net
set at the following default value: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:99.9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.9 (Pale Moon)
If either of these FB UA Overrided are not this value simply right-click on the setting and click on "Reset".

I'm having the same issue and am using version 27.7.1 (64-bit), even after following those instructions for the setting recommendations(after first looking up how to change them, of course).
Could anything else be causing that issue?

Are you getting an error message when video doesn't play?
I don't use FB so can't really test it but it might be this (if you're using Win 10):
