Video was working now fails

Hi there I have tried fresh reset of browser but HTML5 Video will not play even after full uninstall + reinstall..

It is working in Firefox.

I've seen the BBC's different output/departments needing 3+ different settings in Pale Moon's Options for HTML5 broadcasts through 2017, depending on their origin/intended broadcast region and who knows what else.

For the page in question, Native mode plus MSE enabled works for me, my usual settings of Native, MSE plus MP4 and WebM results in a fail.

YouTube now showing HTML5 failure on videos but works on firefox. Wonder if it is due to new 1709 build on windows?

Hi thanks for reply, just for the info I tried palemoon at a friends house and has the exact same issue, where in Palemoon do I change the MSE settings ?

OK I checked and found the settings

just for info I unticked enable MSE for MP4 Video and it started to work thanks again for replies

Still no success in getting past HTML5 page on some videos. Settings seem irrelevant.

Noticed the offending Windows item was installed in the 1709 upgrade of Windows.

Sorry to bring this back up but I got home from my friends Windows 7 PC were I got BBC streams to play, but on my Windows 8.1 machine it will not play no matter which setting I change in Palemoon..

KB 2919355 this update is installed but I cannot remove I think it relates to HEVC that other people had troubles with.
