Certificate Errors

Unread post by Ken Robertson » 2011-10-03, 03:18

Hello

Since about two days ago, nearly every site I open with Pale Moon throws a certificate error, and it doesn't seem to store an exception, as it does the same thing next time also. These are sites that don't throw any errors when using FF or IE.

At first I thought it was 7.0, because it seemed to start after I upgraded, however, even after a clean uninstall and downgrade to 6.0.2, I have the same results.

Any suggestions? Have I completely mucked something up?

Regards
Ken

I upgraded/updated from Pale Moon 6.0 directly to Pale Moon 7.0 Sunday morning and I'm not having any issues, certificate wise, for any website I visit.

I never upgraded/updated to Pale Moon (6.0.2). If the update involved the DigiNotar certificate stolen/hacked issue, I manually did the change via the Pale Moon certificate settings.

MX Linux 23.6 (Libretto) Xfce w/Pale Moon, Waterfox, Firefox
Linux Debian 12.10 (Bookworm) Xfce w/Pale Moon, Waterfox, Firefox

The weird thing is that PM on my desktop is working fine - V 7.0; these certificate errors are only on my laptop :?
