Popup windows flip down.

Post by sjhboo » 2012-12-03, 18:12

I've had this problem for awhile now and thought I would see if you can help me. I play flash games online, (yes Farmville is one) and every time a pop up window pops up when I click share (share item, coins, etc..) that popup flips my screen down a little and I have to scroll down to click share/send. I installed Google Chrome to see if it does it, and they stay in the middle, I don't have to scroll down. It was real nice, BUT chrome is too slow for my computer. Pale Moon is the best. I notice chrome popups are smaller windows then Pale Moon. Is there a way to configure ( in about:config ) so that the popups don't flip down my screen and they stay in the middle like chrome? Maybe the size of the popups is causing it, I don't know. Can you configure the size some how? Or anything else I might be able to change that might help. Please let me know if there is a solution to this. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hmm maybe the webdeveloper make the site only for chrome, so in firefox/ pale moon this don't work correctly.

The easist way is to block the popup with AdblockPlus or NoScript.
You can post the link and then i can write you a filter for AdblockPlus to block the popup

You can as well change the value dom.popup_allowed_events in about:config to block every popups.
Change this to click dblclick reset submit
